Over the years, persistent confusion between the hotel offer and the suites offer indicated a need to separate them into two different product brands.     Centro, Hotels by Rotana
 

Centro, Rotana’s budget hotel brand, redefines the conventional concept of economical comfort by offering affordable, superior class accommodation and hospitality. With a plan to open 25 Centro across the Middle East by 2014, Rotana hopes to meet the demands of the new generation of travellers who seeks both finesse and functionality at reasonable rates. Young and fresh in its approach, Centro is a contemporary concept that is original in its presentation yet dynamic in its offerings.

As the name suggests, the locations of Centro properties will be at the heart of business or commercial districts in the major cities across the region. In Arabic, the word ‘arjaan’ talks of a place which provides a memorable experience, like the aroma of a scented bloom. Both the new name and the identity reflect the freedom of the suites offer. Being more personal, first-class residences, Arjaan properties have been developed with both long-term guests and families in mind. Travellers planning on staying in a city for longer than the average traveller will appreciate the more spacious accommodation, whilst families relish the promise of an environment which more closely resembles home.
