Solidarity Bahrain approves 15pc cash dividends for 2019

Solidarity Bahrain, one of the largest insurance companies in the kingdom, has announced that its shareholders had approved the company board's recommendation to distribute 15 per cent cash dividends (equivalent to 15 fils per share) for 2019.
 
A subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, the top insurer said the decision was taken at its Annual General Assembly Meeting for the financial year ended December 31, 2019 held in the presence of Chairman Tawfiq Shehab and other board members besides representatives from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Tourism, Central Bank of Bahrain, Bahrain Bourse and external auditors.
 
The meeting also saw board members review the reports of external auditors and the Sharia’s Supervisory Board. 
 
Shehab said: "Solidarity Bahrain concluded the year by maintaining its position as a leading insurance provider in the kingdom with its solid and vast performance by introducing new initiatives and achieving distinctive milestones."
