DHA signs MoU with Dubai Public Prosecution

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dubai Public Prosecution aiming to electronically-link both entities to support the Dubai Paperless Strategy.

The MoU was also signed to exchange legal and practical knowledge and to coordinate on areas with shared goals.

Humaid Al Qutami, director general of the DHA and Dubai Attorney General Essam Issa Al Humaidan signed the MoU in the presence of a number of officials from both parties.

The MoU will open partnership opportunities between the DHA and Dubai Public Prosecution in a number of shared areas to achieve the vision of the emirate of Dubai as well as support innovative ideas that help simplify procedures.

The MoU will also provide an opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas through workshops, forums, and conferences organized by both parties as well as publish scientific studies and research.

Commenting on the MoU, Al Qutami said that both parties have a strong partnership in a number of fields and that signing the MoU will open further partnerships related to legislations and regulation in the medical field.

He added that the partnership will support the directions of the city of Dubai, whether related to its paper-free strategy and smart transformations, or training and professional development and raising the level of institutional performance.

Al Humaidan on the other hand stressed that the MoU will support the capabilities of cooperation, support the Dubai Paperless strategy, enhance confidence in government work and help exercise an active role in relation to the judicial side of complaints, lawsuits, laws and medical regulations. This partnership will also help develop the skills of both sides through workshop that highlight the necessary tools needed in enhancing institutional performance.- TradeArabia News Service
