WXCA wins contract to design Polish pavilion at Expo 2020

Warsaw-based architectural studio WXCA has been awarded the contract by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency to design the country pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, said a report.

It will be built together with the exhibitions indoor layout at an investment of around PLN40 million ($10.7 million), according to public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency.

The Polish pavilion will be an arresting structure evoking the concept of mobility, stated the report citing a senior official.

"The world fair will be an opportunity to promote Poland, its goods and services," remarked Tomasz Pisula, the head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

With “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” as its motto, the Dubai Expo 2020 will run from October 2020 to April 2021, he added.
