Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has directed that the Qiblatain Mosque in Madinah remain open 24 hours a day to facilitate worshippers’ access for prayers at all times.
Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz said all efforts will be made to ensure the highest level of care and services for the Qiblatain Mosque, recognising its religious and historical significance and enabling worshippers to perform their prayers with ease and comfort.
He noted that relevant authorities have begun implementing the necessary operational measures to ensure the mosque’s full readiness for continuous operation.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr Abdullatif Al Alsheikh said this royal directive reflects the leadership’s keen interest ensuring the comfort of the pilgrims.
He added that the mosque is fully prepared for round-the-clock operation, equipped with all services needed to ensure the comfort of worshippers.
