New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, highlighted the progress of Riyadh’s new downtown from vision to delivery at the PIF Private Sector Forum, held in Riyadh.

During the event, New Murabba engaged in high-level discussions and strategic engagements focused on structured investment pathways, said a Saudi Press Agency report quoting a company press release.

New Murabba engaged with investors and participated in several panel discussions focused on urban development, liveability, and renewable energy ecosystems, providing clarity on how private-sector partners can engage in the next phase of the destination’s development.

At the centre of New Murabba’s participation was its commitment to a disciplined delivery model that creates well-defined entry points for private sector collaborators. Built around a human-centric masterplan and anchored by next-generation community clusters, the destination is designed as a 15-minute downtown where culture, mobility, commerce, and daily life sit within seamless proximity.

CEO of New Murabba Michael Dyke said: “The PIF Private Sector Forum highlights how New Murabba is transitioning decisively into delivery. Our goal is to provide partners with clear, investable pathways grounded in discipline, governance, and long-term value creation. As Riyadh’s future downtown continues to take shape, we see tremendous opportunity for the private sector to join us in building a destination that will define how cities are designed, experienced, and lived in for generations to come.”

New Murabba’s participation further highlighted its alignment with PIF’s broader goal of driving new engines of economic growth, creating a sustainable living destination, and expanding renewable energy initiatives through strategic partnerships and effective implementation that supports the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 aspirations.

The forum marked an important milestone in the destination’s delivery journey, strengthening engagement with qualified investors and advancing discussions around upcoming partnership models. As New Murabba prepares for its next phase, the programme continues to prioritise governance excellence, sustainability, human-centric design, and structured collaboration with world-class partners, the developer said.
