Almosafer Travel & Tourism, Saudi Arabia’s leading travel company, has announced a strategic collaboration with Accor’s Makkah Cluster, comprising the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel, Raffles Makkah Palace, Swissôtel Makkah and Swissôtel Al Maqam Makkah.
The collaboration is focused on enhancing seamless access, distribution efficiency, and hospitality availability for tour operators and pilgrims visiting the Holy City.
Located just steps away from Masjid Al Haram, these four iconic hotels are among the most in-demand properties in Makkah, offering unmatched proximity, service and scale.
Through this collaboration, Almosafer will enhance inventory access across these properties, ensuring greater availability and operational ease for tour operators and pilgrims in global source markets.
The partnership supports Saudi Vision 2030’s ambition to transform the Kingdom into a global tourism hub by expanding the visibility and reach of Accor’s Makkah properties on Almosafer’s travel platform, thereby streamlining booking flows, improving inventory access, and optimising availability during peak pilgrimage periods.
The collaboration will leverage Almosafer’s full suite of travel businesses, including Mawasim, its dedicated Hajj and Umrah tour operator, and Discover Saudi, Almosafer’s Destination Management Company, which supports the growing Umrah Plus proposition by enabling structured extensions beyond the pilgrimage.
Through Almosafer Business, the partnership will also facilitate government and institutional travel to Makkah, while Almosafer’s Consumer Travel Business will amplify reach across GCC markets.
In addition, the initiative will be supported by Almosafer’s extensive global network, including a wide base of travel agents across key international source markets, as well as its owned offices in Pakistan and Indonesia and representative offices in additional priority markets.
This network enables efficient, scalable access to accommodation inventory for both B2B partners and end travellers.
Muzzammil Ahussain, Chief Executive Officer of Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co., said: “Accor’s Makkah Cluster, including Fairmont, Raffles, and Swissôtel, represents some of the most important hospitality assets in the Holy City. This collaboration reflects our shared focus on strengthening access, distribution efficiency, and reach at scale. As Hajj and Umrah demand continues to grow in line with Vision 2030, partnerships like this are essential in supporting seamless planning and sourcing for pilgrims and tour operators worldwide.”
Salem Al Shahrani, Salem Al Shahrani, Managing Director, of Accor’s Makkah Clock Towers Complex, said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Almosafer, Saudi Arabia’s leading travel company, to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests in Makkah. Through this collaboration, we aim to ensure that every pilgrim and traveller can access world-class hospitality that complements the spiritual significance of their journey. Together, we are redefining the standards of comfort and accessibility in one of the world’s most sacred destinations.” -TradeArabia News Service
