The Bahrain Association of Banks has announced the signing of a MoU with the Kuwait Banking Association at its headquarters in Kuwait City.
The agreement provides a general framework to facilitate dialogue, information exchange and engagement between the two associations on matters of shared interest to their respective members.
It was inked by Zeeba Askar, the CEO of Bahrain Association of Banks, and Dr Yaqoub Al Sayyid Yousef Al Rifai, the Secretary General of the Kuwait Banking Association.
On the strategic tieup, Askar said the deal reflects BAB’s focus on maintaining constructive engagement with peer banking associations in the region and supporting structured dialogue and knowledge exchange in a manner that serves the interests of member banks.
Shaikha Al Essa, the Secretary General of the Kuwait Banking Association, welcomed the signing of the deal, noting that it supports closer institutional engagement and continued exchange between the two associations.-TradeArabia News Service
