SLB’s OneSubsea joint venture has secured a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Eni for Phase 3 of the deepwater Baleine project offshore Côte d’Ivoire.
Under the agreement, OneSubsea will supply complete subsea
production systems for 13 wells, strengthening its role as a key technology and
execution partner for the strategic offshore development.
The contract covers subsea trees, umbilicals, manifolds,
multiphase flowmeters and control systems, as well as installation,
commissioning and life-of-field support services.
The integrated delivery approach aims to accelerate project
execution and support Eni’s fast-track development schedule.
SLB OneSubsea will leverage its local presence and
in-country capabilities to enhance project delivery and provide ongoing support
throughout the asset’s operational life. The Baleine project is among the
region’s most significant deepwater energy developments.
"Baleine Phase 3 brings together scale and execution
certainty," said Mads Hjelmeland, chief executive officer of SLB
OneSubsea. "Through our subsea production system technology and by
leveraging our established local presence, we are supporting Eni’s efforts to
advance a complex, deepwater project efficiently while contributing to the
long-term development of offshore resources in Côte d’Ivoire." -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
