Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted Universal Aviation a licence to provide ground handling services at the private aviation terminal at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, marking the company's entry into the Kingdom.
The facility will serve as Universal Aviation's first
operational base in Saudi Arabia.
The move supports GACA's strategy to strengthen the general
aviation sector by creating an integrated operating environment and improving
service quality.
It also aligns with the Aviation Programme under the
National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to
position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub and enhance the competitiveness
of its civil aviation sector. -TradeArabia News Service
