Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, has launched its inaugural Riyadh-Kuala Lumpur service, marking its first gateway into Southeast Asia.

The new nonstop route was celebrated at King Khalid International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport with airline, government and aviation officials in attendance.

Operating three times weekly, the service strengthens air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, supporting travel and trade links with one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing markets.

The launch represents a key milestone in Riyadh Air’s network expansion strategy as the airline continues building its international operations.
