Trenchless Middle East, the region’s largest and longest-running exhibition and conference dedicated to trenchless technology and underground infrastructure, will take place in Riyadh for the first time on December 2 and 3, 2026.
Hosted at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel, the 15th edition of the event will bring together infrastructure authorities, utility providers, municipalities, consultants, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and technology specialists from across the Middle East and the wider international trenchless community.
The move to Riyadh marks an important new chapter for Trenchless Middle East, positioning the event at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding infrastructure market and the major development programmes being delivered across the Kingdom, Westrade Group, the organisers, said.
Supported by the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) and the Association of Trenchless Technologies Middle East (ATTME), Trenchless Middle East is the only dedicated regional event to receive the backing of both organisations.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the latest equipment, technologies and engineering solutions for the installation, inspection, maintenance and rehabilitation of underground infrastructure, including water, wastewater, energy, telecommunications and utility networks.
Alongside the exhibition, a dedicated technical conference will feature expert insight, project case studies and discussions focused on the latest developments, challenges and best practices shaping the trenchless sector.
As Saudi Arabia continues to invest in utilities, transport, urban development and underground networks, trenchless technology will play an increasingly important role in delivering infrastructure with less disruption, greater efficiency and improved environmental outcomes.
Paul Harwood, Managing Director, Westrade Group Ltd, said: “Saudi Arabia is delivering one of the world’s most ambitious programmes of infrastructure and urban development, creating significant opportunities for the trenchless technology sector.
“Moving Trenchless Middle East to Riyadh places the event at the centre of this transformation and provides an important platform for authorities, project owners, engineers, contractors and technology providers to connect, exchange knowledge and explore new commercial opportunities.
“As the region’s largest and longest-running trenchless event, and the only one supported by ISTT and ATTME, Trenchless Middle East has established a strong international reputation. We are proud to bring its 15th edition to Riyadh and look forward to welcoming the industry this December.”
Delivered by Westrade Group, Trenchless Middle East has previously been held in locations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jeddah, building a strong reputation as the leading regional meeting place for the underground infrastructure sector. - TradeArabia News Service
