NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta opens following hotel transformation

Dubai’s Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel has entered a new chapter with the launch of NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta, following the phased transformation of the 396-room property.

Located beside Ibn Battuta Mall, the hotel combines refreshed accommodation and public spaces with an expanded offering of dining, leisure and social experiences.

The property is positioned to serve leisure, family, business and MICE travellers, with convenient access to Dubai’s major business, entertainment and tourism destinations.

The launch adds to NH Collection’s growing UAE presence, following NH Collection Dubai The Palm, with further openings planned in Ras Al Khaimah.

Akram Al Ameer, General Manager, NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta, said: “The rebranding to NH Collection represents an important new chapter for the hotel. We have taken the strengths of an established property and built on them through a significant investment programme, with greater emphasis on contemporary design, quality, personalised service and the complete guest experience. As Dubai’s hospitality landscape continues to evolve, NH Collection gives us an opportunity to strengthen our appeal across leisure, corporate, group and MICE segments, while creating an experience that feels distinctive, relevant and memorable.”

The hotel’s accommodation ranges from Collection, Superior and Premium Rooms to Junior, Family and Terrace Pool Suites. Selected two-bedroom configurations cater to families and longer stays, while Club Rooms and suites provide Executive Lounge access.

Terrace Pool Suites feature private outdoor areas and temperature-controlled pools.

Dining is a key part of the refreshed offering. International restaurant brand Benihana brings its Japanese teppanyaki concept to the hotel, with chefs preparing dishes tableside.

Two new concepts, Taste and Nomad, further expand the food and beverage offering. Taste serves as a contemporary all-day dining venue inspired by cuisines from around the world, while Nomad offers speciality coffee and wholesome bites in a relaxed setting.

They join existing venues including Skyline Pool Bar, McGettigan’s and Rodeo Drive, an American-inspired restaurant serving Tex-Mex cuisine alongside live music and entertainment.

Leisure facilities include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, beauty salon and Kids Club, providing options for relaxation and family activities.

The property also retains its meetings and events facilities, anchored by 871 square metres of meeting space alongside flexible meeting and breakout areas for conferences, corporate gatherings, celebrations and private events.

With upgraded rooms, new dining concepts and expanded leisure facilities, NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta represents a renewed offering at an established Dubai address. -TradeArabia News Service
