Jayasom opens wellness resort on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast

Jayasom has opened its Jayasom Wellness Resort, AMAALA, on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, introducing a luxury integrative wellness destination focused on personalised programmes for long-term health and wellbeing.

The resort offers more than 200 therapies and treatments across six areas, including traditional and holistic health, physiotherapy and recovery, strength and mobility, spa and hydrotherapy, aesthetic and clinical care, and nutrition and vitality.

Its approach combines evidence-based practices with global wellness traditions and Saudi and Middle Eastern heritage.

Jayasom’s signature programme, Essence of Jayasom, is available from opening and is tailored to each guest’s physical and emotional goals.

Additional programmes will address family wellbeing, women’s health, leadership and high-performance lifestyles, detoxification, and physical vitality.

The resort features two distinct experiences: Jayana, an adults-only wellness retreat, and Jayela, a family-focused offering with dedicated spaces for infants, children and teenagers.

Guests can combine nutrition, fitness, physiotherapy, mindfulness, relaxation and beauty services according to their individual needs.

Conscious cuisine is central to the experience, with meals tailored to personal wellness goals and an emphasis on plant-based food, fermentation and seasonal produce.

Fresh ingredients are supplied by the resort’s Farm Belt, while cooking experiences at the Nakeha studio give guests practical skills to continue healthy habits at home.

The opening contributes to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions, particularly its focus on preventative health and long-term wellbeing.

Set within the pristine landscape of AMAALA’s Triple Bay, the resort integrates nature-inspired architecture, local craftsmanship and the surrounding Red Sea environment into its wellness philosophy.

Karen Campbell, CEO of Jayasom, said: “Jayasom was born from a belief that wellness is a practice - grounded in presence, learning and the quiet courage to be still”. “At AMAALA, we provide the space and support to restore balance, breathe deeply and reconnect with wisdom - ancient and modern, personal and shared. Our commitment is to deliver wellness with integrity and compassion, empowering guests to carry forward habits that enrich their lives long after they return home”. -TradeArabia News Service
