Jazeera Airways has announced a strategic partnership with Trip.com Group aimed at expanding the Kuwaiti low-cost carrier’s global reach, increasing early bookings and supporting the country’s travel and tourism sector.
Under the agreement, Trip.com will use its global user base,
predictive demand tools and multi-market technology to strengthen Jazeera
Airways’ network, particularly on new and demand-sensitive routes. The
collaboration will focus on increasing visibility, generating demand and
driving bookings across both origin and destination markets.
Jazeera Airways CEO Barathan Pasupathi said: “This
partnership with Trip.com Group marks a significant step in our distribution
and growth strategy. By tapping into their global demand ecosystem and
cutting-edge AI retailing capabilities, we’re not only accelerating network
performance but also enhancing how we reach, engage, and convert travelers. We
look forward to jointly shaping Kuwait’s positioning as both a vibrant tourism
destination and an efficient transit hub.”
CT Ooi, Chief Executive Officer of Flights, Trip.com Group,
said: “By combining Jazeera’s network and local market expertise with
Trip.com’s global reach, demand intelligence and technology capabilities, we
can help connect the airline with high-potential traveller segments across key
international markets. Our goal is to shed light on new and emerging routes,
while helping travellers discover more of what Kuwait has to offer. We look
forward to working closely with Jazeera to support the growth of Kuwait’s
tourism and aviation ecosystem.”
The companies will also promote Kuwait as a stopover and
tourism destination through curated content, dynamic travel packages and
regional storytelling, supporting efforts to diversify the economy and increase
inbound tourism.
Jazeera Airways will gain access to Trip.com’s distribution
and retailing technology, helping it target segments including students,
expatriates and visiting friends and relatives. The tools will also support
fare bundling, ancillary sales and upselling opportunities.
The partnership will further increase Jazeera Airways’
visibility through Trip.com’s media platforms, co-branded campaigns and
customer relationship management activities, designed to build awareness,
engagement and bookings.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen Jazeera Airways’ international distribution while supporting Kuwait’s broader ambitions to develop its aviation and tourism sectors. -TradeArabia News Service
