Jeddah Airports Company has begun the phased launch of operations at Terminal 4 of King Abdulaziz International Airport, with the transition started September 27, 2026, to improve efficiency and accommodate rising passenger traffic.

Wizz Air, AJet and SalamAir were scheduled to move to Terminal 4 on September 27, followed by Fly Jinnah and Nesma Airlines on September 28.

Akasa Air will relocate on September 29, with SyrianAir and Pegasus moving on October 1, and Azerbaijan Airlines and Tunisair on October 3.

The 97,000-square-metre terminal has capacity for 15 million passengers annually and includes advanced operational systems, modern facilities and dedicated group check-in areas for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

King Abdulaziz International Airport handled a record 53.4 million passengers in 2025. Jeddah Airports advised travellers to confirm their departure terminal through their airline’s official channels or the airport’s official platforms before travelling. -TradeArabia News Service
