Elgi Equipments, one of the world's leading air compressor manufacturers, has announced the launch of its patented ELGi Demand=Match technology in the Middle East and Africa at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026.

Available on the EG Series (11 – 75 kW) and EQ Series (11 – 45 kW) fixed-speed air compressors, Demand=Match intelligently adjusts compressed air delivery to match changing plant requirements, helping manufacturers improve energy efficiency without compromising the simplicity and reliability of fixed-speed technology.

Across food and beverage manufacturing, packaging and other industries, compressed air demand fluctuates as production requirements change. 

Conventional fixed-speed compressors typically respond through load/unload cycling, which can contribute to pressure fluctuations, wasted energy and wear on critical components.

Patented airflow regulation

The ELGi Demand=Match addresses this challenge using patented airflow regulation and internal recirculation to manage excess compressed air, maintain stable pressure and reduce unnecessary compressor cycling. 

The EG Series compressors with the ELGi Demand=Match technology have demonstrated energy savings of up to 17% under applicable operating conditions. Reduced mechanical stress also helps extend equipment life, while lower energy and maintenance requirements contribute to reduced lifecycle costs.
