Mace Construct, an independent UK-based construction and contracting business, has announced that it will be rebranded as Forco beginning next year. 

This comes following its demerger in March with Mace Consult, a leading global delivery consultancy based in London. 

As part of the transition, the independent business will launch its new brand Forco on January 1 with a fresh identity, website and employee value proposition, said Mace in its LinkedIn post. 

Mace Consult and Mace Construct are now two independent businesses following the completion of a majority investment in Mace Consult by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, it stated.

As Forco, the company will “set out a new path” as an independent construction business, said a company spokesman.

"The name might be new, but it is built on more than 35 years of construction experience and a clear direction for what comes next," he added. 

The group's other unit Mace Consult, a leading global delivery consultancy based in London, will remain a separate business and will continue under the Mace name and brand. 

As part of the transition, Shaun Hughes has joined Mace Consult’s executive team as the new Chief Financial Officer. An industry veteran, he brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience across finance, procurement and operations.

With a strong track record in financial strategy, business transformation and driving sustainable growth, he will play a key role in supporting Mace Consult’s long-term ambitions as an independent global consultancy, said Mace in its LinkedIn post.

His appointment marks another important step in strengthening our leadership team and positioning the business for its next phase of growth, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
