eSense develops EPM solution for Al Rajhi Bank

Amman, November 8, 2009

eSense, the leading provider of IT-based business solutions, has developed an advanced enterprise project management solution for Saudi-based Al-Rajhi Bank.

The Microsoft Office Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solution is an end-to-end collaborative project and portfolio environment implemented by eSense to help the bank gain visibility, insight, and control across all work, enhancing decision-making, improving alignment with business strategy, maximising resource utilisation, and measuring and helping to increase operational efficiency.

Al Rajhi is the largest network of Islamic banks worldwide in terms of market value and total profits. The bank requires an advanced enterprise project management (EPM) solution to effectively manage its workload. eSense Arabia, will handle the implementation.

Al Rajhi has been successfully using Microsoft EPM 2003, integrated with Microsoft’s SharePoint Server to facilitate the management and execution of projects and the provision of various reports to the various executive levels within Al Rajhi. eSense’s solution is built on the newer Microsoft EPM 2007, which will help the bank overcome some major shortcomings of the previous version.

“As we have implemented several similar solutions to large-scale organisations in the past, we are certain that the new Microsoft EPM will greatly ease the project management and monitoring tasks for Al Rajhi,” said Mohannad Itayem, general manager of eSense Arabia.

Headquartered in Amman, eSense has active branches in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, with further expansion activities in Qatar, UAE and Africa.-TradeArabia News Service
