Payment sector chiefs highlight partnerships

A major conference for the leaders in the payments industry concluded recently in Istanbul with all participants endorsing the need for greater cooperation and collaboration within the payments industry.
Organised by Network International, the largest acquirer and one of the leading payment solutions providers in the region, the 2012 edition of the User Conference was organised under the theme “Bridging Ambitions.”
“This is one of the most vibrant times for the payments industry, and as we look forward to more exciting developments through 2012, I believe there are no boundaries for innovation,” said Abdulla Qassem, chairman, Network International.

Network International’s flagship event is aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding about industry trends and developments amongst its partners, including merchants, banks and other financial institutions.
The event is also designed to create constructive dialogue between industry thought leaders and the region’s partner community by providing a platform for insightful discussion on the current trends and future direction of the payment card industry.
