UAE Exchange to ease utility bill payment

Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), an entity of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (Adwea), has joined with foreign exchange brand, UAE Exchange, to make utility bill payments easier for its customers.

ADDC customers can now walk in to any of the over 120 branches of UAE Exchange across the UAE and pay their electricity and water bills without incurring any additional fees, a statement from the company said.

“Both ADDC and UAE Exchange address the most essential requirements of the customers. Both the entities understand the importance of bringing the best to customers. It is this common passion, which has brought us together,” said Mohamed Bin Jarsh, Acting General Manager of ADDC.

“We are very happy to join hands with UAE Exchange. We are sure that the wide network and goodwill that the brand enjoys, across the UAE, will help our customers to clear theirbills in a hassle-free and time-saving manner.”

Promoth Manghat, the vice president of global operations at UAE Exchange, said: “Every partnership should bring more convenience to the customers. This aim drives us to bring meaningful partnerships. Our latest tie up with ADDC is an outcome of this thinking for the customers.”

“Customers can choose to pay their ADDC bills from any of the over 120  branches of UAE Exchange across the seven emirates, including the 14 in the Dubai Metro Stations, UAE Exchange is the only remittance brand to provide such a convenience to the Dubai Metro commuters,” he added.

The utility bill payment convenience is among the many offered at UAE Exchange counters, including money transfers, foreign currency exchange, payroll solutions, credit card bill payments, and school fee payment.

ADDC recently introduced new water and electricity bills payment mechanisms that include ADDC's website - www.addc.ae; the Abu Dhabi e-Government Portal - www.abudhabi.ae; ATMs of some authorised banks and kiosks electronic payment systems located in the company's customer services centres, Adnoc petrol stations, Emirates Post offices and shopping centres. – TradeArabia News Service
