Bahraini retail and commercial banking institution BMI Bank has signed a deal with Muharraq Sports Club and Mastercard, to launch an exclusive co-branded credit card.

Muharraq SC, founded in 1928, has a rich history of sport victories and recognition including basketball and volleyball, while its greatest following is in football where the club won the Bahrain Football Premier League 31 times.

The sports-based loyalty and rewards credit card, titled ‘Muharraq Club Titanium’ will come with a host of special and unique benefits and also opportunities for fans to show their loyalty to the club, said a senior bank executive.

Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the vice chairman of Muharraq SC, said: “The Muharraq club brand is one of the most recognised names in the GCC sporting world with a large fan base who look for unique ways to show their loyalty to the club.
