KFH wins Bahrain Ministry of Labour award

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain won an award from the kingdom’s Ministry of Labour for its efforts in employing Bahrainis with special needs.

It was presented at the ministry’s 29th Annual Honouring Ceremony of Hard Working Workers and Outstanding Institutions in the Private and Public Sectors held recently under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The award was presented to Sattam Al Gosaibi, executive manager and head of Corporate Banking Group at KFH-Bahrain by the Labour Minister Jameel Humaidan.

"We are pleased to be among the selected outstanding institutions during 2013. We are dedicated towards providing employment opportunities for the various segments of our society," said Al Gosaibi.

"We recognise the importance of corporate social responsibility in the kingdom both in the private and public sectors and the commitment that is needed to support and contribute positively towards the society," he said.

The ceremony was held to recognise Bahraini workforce who made outstanding achievements in the kingdom and to honour the institutions that contributed to the development of the national economy. - TradeArabia News Service
