Hyder to masterplan Escape

Dubai, March 26, 2008

Hyder ACLA has been appointed masterplanner for the Dh1.8 billion ($490 million) Escape development in Ajman.

The 200-acre equestrian-themed mixed-use community is seen as being a key part of Ajman's ongoing drive to become a global destination.

Escape is aimed primarily at people who enjoy an active lifestyle. Along with villas, houses, apartments and a hotel, the development will feature several multi-purpose sports facilities.

"Ajman is known for its equestrian tradition, and Escape follows the emirate's overall strategy of incorporating elements from the past into innovative developments," said Mona Rizk, senior masterplanning and landscape architect for Hyder ACLA.
