Emaar on track to deliver Saudi homes

Leading developer Emaar Middle East said it is on course to setting a historic first for the organisation with the hand-over of he first homes in Saudi Arabia at Al Khobar Lakes.

Al Khobar Lakes is a luxury lakefront development set on 4.3 million sq m featuring serene water bodies. It features more than 2,000 private villas with retail and leisure amenities that are perfect for family living, said Emaar in a statement.

In close proximity to Al Khobar City, Dhahran and Dammam, Al Khobar Lakes is one of the premier lakefront developments and the largest integrated community in Saudi Arabia, it added.

Al Khobar Lakes will hand over the first villas in phases at its Al Nada residential village shortly, said Ahmad Al Kulli, general manager of Emaar ME.

“These villas have been designed and developed to world-class standards, and will serve as a referral point for modern residential projects,” he explained.
 
The finishing touches to the homes and final landscaping works are currently being undertaken to offer a beautifully laid out community for the first residents, he added.

Al Kulli pointed out that the progress on the villas underlined the commitment of Emaar Middle East to offer superior lifestyle experiences for its customers.

"We will continue to develop our projects to meet the growing demand for quality homes in the Kingdom," he added.

With AC, internal plastering, electrical wiring, wood finishes for kitchens, bedroom and bathrooms, and painting of villas already completed, the final construction activities currently being undertaken on site include testing and commissioning of services and utilities, said the official.

All homes will be equipped with the latest communication technologies, smart home systems and advanced infrastructure networks. Construction of a mosque in the community has also commenced, he added.

Having successfully launched the Al Nada and Al Ghadeer Villages, Al Khobar Lakes will feature a big retail centre with a gross leasable area of 95,000 sq m; 104,000 sq m of landscaping, greenery and parks; 11 mosques including a Grand Mosque for Friday Prayers; two educational facilities for both boys and girls; a shopping centre, two community centres and healthcare facilities.-TradeArabia News Service
