Manama, March 29, 2012

Chase Pardana, a leading Malaysian construction company, is now looking at executing a multi-million dinar project for the Housing Ministry in Bahrain after completing a skyscraper contract, its chairman said.

Dr Mohan Swami was speaking during the formal handing over of the just-completed Diplomat Commercial Office Tower, a BD27 million ($71.6 million) skyscraper to owner National Hotels Company chairman Faisal Al Zayani.

Swami said the company's challenging first assignment in Bahrain had proved there was commitment and expertise in the country and that it had a lot to offer.

"This was a challenging assignment in which all our skills were tested," he said.

"We are now looking forward to our next assignment for the Housing Ministry, which will begin soon," he added.

Al Zayani said the company had done an excellent job and created a beautiful landmark in Bahrain.

"The new iconic landmark in Bahrain's already impressive skyline has a very unique design. Its imposing feature stands out as a welcome to any visitor to the country," he added.

He said the prime location of the tower will help it become a focal business commercial tower for the ever-growing Bahraini economy.

The outstanding views from the offices will soon host a variety of local and international corporations expanding opportunities of employment growth for Bahraini nationals. – TradeArabia News Service
