Over 2,080 firms to take part in Project Qatar

More than 2,080 companies will showcase the latest technologies, equipment and services in the construction market, at the Project Qatar exhibition.

The 9th International Trade Exhibition for Construction Technology, Building Materials, Equipment and Environmental Technology, to be held from April 30 to May 3, will occupy an  area of more than 62,000 sq m at the Doha Exhibition Center, Qatar,

A roadshow was held today at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai to promote the expo.

Bassel Amaneddine, general manager of IFP Emirates, presented an overview of the growth of the exhibition since its inception in 2004.

He said: “Project Qatar has become a landmark event in construction exhibitions in the Middle East, thanks to the ongoing support of various strategic partners in the business community across the GCC, especially in the UAE.”

Amaneddine also revealed that exhibitors at Project Qatar will come from 48 countries, while more than 40 international business development agencies representing various countries will also be attending the event.

He added: “The construction industry in Qatar is expected to enjoy sustained growth and we are therefore pleased to welcome the participation of leading UAE companies in the exhibition. We believe that their presence will surely create a significant impact on the industry. With their vast expertise in the construction industry and real estate development, UAE companies serve as key partners and play a critical role in the growth of Qatar’s construction market.” – TradeArabia News Service
