Saudi signs $533m new road deals

Saudi Arabia's Transport Ministry has signed 32 contracts worth more than SR2 billion ($533 million) for the construction of new roads and repairing of existing ones in different parts of the kingdom, said a report.
The contracts also included consultancy services for building new road projects, the Arab News report quoted Transport Minister Jabara Al-Seraisry as saying.
"The Transport Ministry is committed to implementing all road projects within the specific time," Al-Seraisry said in the report.
The total value of road contracts singed this year is more than SR10 billion, the report said.
