Currie & Brown has appointed Ian Manser as chief operating officer of its Middle East business.

Manser joins from Jacobs Engineering where he was vice president directing services for key clients in the UK and the Middle East. Prior to that he was managing director with Mouchel and led their business in the Gulf.

Commenting on the appointment, Euan McEwan, group chief executive officer, said: “With his wealth of management experience in the construction industry Ian is the ideal person to take our business in the Middle East forward.”
