Three major contracts worth SR226 million ($60.3 million) for the construction and maintenance of a series of medical, educational and road project in Saudi Arabia’s two industrial cities was signed recently, said a report.

The projects were awarded to a number of national firms by Prince Saud bin Abdullah Al-Thunayyan, president of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), said the Arab News report.

The contracts included construction of educational facilities and provision of operational and maintenance services for health care facilities in Yanbu Industrial City and rehabilitation and beautification works of roads in Jubail Industrial City, it added.
