Al Khamis museum works to start this month

The construction of Al Khamis Mosque Museum in Bahrain is set to start this month, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
HRH the Crown Prince has approved the BD1.5 million ($3.9 million)project, revealed Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Meanwhile, Al Baraka Bank has contributed BD60,000 to carry out maintenance work on the twin minarets of the ancient monument.
Preparations are also underway to install at the site night lighting during Ramadan, Shaikha Mai said. - TradeArabia News Service
