Mideast ‘rich in human capital’

Dubai, March 20, 2012

The Middle East is rich in human capital and talent, much of which is yet to be realised, appreciated and put to good use, said a leading Dubai-based learning consultant.

“Indeed, the region’s entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well. In the UAE alone, figures suggest that the 175,000 registered SMEs contribute as much as one third of the nation’s GDP,” added Carol Talbot, who has worked with more than 20,000 people across multiple sectors in her twenty year career.

“As world economies experience a season of unprecedented transition the time is nigh for the many brave pioneers looking for change to fast learn to look in new places for new answers to business and personal growth,” she said.

She acknowledged that change can mean an uncomfortable ride for some and uses what she dubs ‘breakthrough’ experiences to dig deep and push personal boundaries to unleash untapped potential.

“No matter how far you have walked or how high you have climbed, there is always untapped wisdom waiting to be released to nourish a new game plan be it for life or business,” she said.

Talbot cited her soon-to-be-launched ‘Fired Up Formula’ as a palatable recipe for change. She said that the programme provides the opportunity to ‘act as if’ by stirring up feedback from the inside as you move forward.

“I work with individuals and teams to dig deep and push boundaries to touch the very core, because it is from the very core that the felt shift is immense!” she added. – TradeArabia News Service
