Tamkeen launches training workshops

Bahrain's labour fund Tamkeen kicked off the second phase of 'Training and Education Performance Support' workshops this month, following the successful completion of its two workshops.

The workshops - “How to Hold an Audience without a Rope” and “Coaching for Trainers”- are part of a series of 30 workshops specifically designed for Bahraini employees and employers ranging from administrators, lecturers, trainers, educators, curriculum developers, managers and institute owners who are employed full time in licensed training and education establishments.

The first workshop was conducted by Partners Conference & Event Management and delivered by the certified speaking professional Scott Friedman.

The second workshop “Coaching for Trainers” was conducted by International Development Ireland and delivered by Victor Branagan.

“The level of engagement and commitment to learning observed by a group of talented professionals was indeed encouraging, we request all employees and employers in the sector to make maximum use of these programmes in the coming months,” said Amal Kooheji, Tamkeen’s acting vice-president for Human Capital Development.

“Tamkeen’s contribution to the Bahraini private sector has been tremendous and we at Third Wave International are proud to be a part of this," said Dilip de S Wijeyeratne, joint managing director and the CEO of Third Wave International, the event managers.

"We are confident that the workshops will meet and exceed the expectations of the participants as these are delivered by renowned training providers and speakers,” he stated.

Two interesting workshops have been lined up for January namely - ‘Special Education and Inclusion’ and‘Quality Mark for Kindergartens,’ he added.-TradeArabia News Service
