MBS creates ‘campus’ for 600 part-time students

Dubai, September 18, 2013

Manchester Business School is bringing together about 600 part-time MBA students from its centres around the world to join fellow students in the region for a series of workshops in Dubai.

The workshops, being hosted at Dubai Knowledge Village, for experienced working professionals will run till September 30.

The biannual face-to-face sessions will see faculty from the business school deliver 24 different MBA programme modules including entrepreneurship and innovation management; people management and oraganisation; strategic management of projects; and group projects and business simulation exercises.

Randa Bessiso, Middle East director of MBS, said: “For MBA students there is no substitute for face to face contact with professors and peers, to complement their online self study and study groups.

“Workshops are intense and demanding but also the most stimulating and productive learning elements of the MBA programmes we offer to students in the region.” - TradeArabia News Service
