Samsung Jordan implements Smart school solution

Samsung Electronics has implemented the first model of smart school in Jordan, to create interactive classes and apply the concept of its digital and wireless class rooms solutions.

On signing an agreement with First Academy School, Samsung Electronics Levant provided the school with 500 Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 for students, and equipped the classrooms with 25 interactive e-boards, which have been linked  to the student’s, to display their entries through Samsung School Solutions (V 1.5) at a first stage.

The solution aims to create more interactive classes for students and enjoy group activities, helping administrators at the same time to manage the learning environment with more effective methods, and enabling teachers to make the most of these solutions through features that allows them to share the screen with the students.

Samsung, in collaboration with its distributor Granada in Jordan, examined the school’s wireless networks infrastructure, and provided the necessary training for the educational staff on the new techniques, in order to elevate the educational process using digital technologies.

Bumsuk Hong, president of Samsung Electronics Levant, said: "Samsung School Solution and Samsung smart devices are integrated together now to serve the educational process.”

Islam Khalili, First Academy School Principle, said: “We executed our plan based on an aim to enrich the students’ educational experience and make it more interactive, which will elevate the educational outcomes, and building a school based on international standards and Jordanian workforce deploying the latest technology in partnership with Samsung Electronics." - TradeArabia News Service
