GE holds CSR event for special needs students

GE, a global technology leader, recently organised along with its channel partners a ‘build a bike’ initiative for the special needs students at Al Manzil School in Sharjah.

Al Manzil School is a professional care-giving and learning environment for individuals with special needs to nurture their potential & develop the requisite self-help, social, educational & vocational skills.

The initiative was held as part of the Energy Management Middle East and Africa Channel Summit held in Dubai. During the three-day event, various channel partners and GE employees worked together on building the bikes.

Paul Maclean, channel management pole leader for Europe, Middle East and Africa, for GE Energy Management along with channel partners, presented the bikes to four students of Al Manzil and Dr Ayesha Saeed Husaini, the school’s manager. – TradeArabia News Service
