Cyber security training in Abu Dhabi

Dubai, February 19, 2014

Sans Institute, a co-operative research and education organisation and a source for information security training and security certification in the world, is set to bring IT security training to Abu Dhabi with three popular courses for information security professionals.

The Sans Abu Dhabi 2014 cyber security training, which will be led by three instructors, will take place at the Hilton International from April 26 to May 1.

The ‘Advanced Network Forensics & Analysis’ course will cover the most critical skills needed to mount efficient and effective post-incident response investigations. It will teach students how to use the tools, technology, and processes required to integrate network evidence sources into an efficient and effective investigation.

The ‘Mobile Device Security & Ethical Hacking’ course, which has evolved rapidly to include BlackBerry 10, Apple iOS 7, and Android 4.3 devices, will include the skills needed to design, deploy, operate and assess a well-managed secure mobile environment. It will teach the critical skills necessary to support the secure deployment and use of mobile phones and tablets in your organisation.

The ‘Securing The Human: How to Build, Maintain and Measure a High-impact Awareness Program,’ will be conducted on May 3 and 4.

The course recognises that organisations have invested a tremendous amount of money and resources into securing technology, but little, if anything, into securing the human element resulting in people becoming the weakest link and the simplest way for cyber attackers to hack into any organisation.

It will teach how to build an active awareness and education program that goes beyond just compliance and changes behaviours. - TradeArabia News Service
