New school for girls planned in Bahrain

A new school for girls will be built in Malkiya in Bahrain, it was announced yesterday (July 5).
 
Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi said the construction of the Primary and Intermediate School for Girls, part of GCC Development Programme, follows directives from HRH the Premier, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
The four-storey state-of-the-art school will cover an area of 15,876 sq m, with 36 classrooms to accommodate 1,260 students. 
 
It will include a multi-purpose room, administrative offices, science, computer pottery and agriculture laboratories, cafeteria, central air-conditioning, a parking space for 41 cars, four lifts and four staircases. - TradeArabia News Service
