80 join MBS part-time MBA

Dubai, August 17, 2014

Manchester Business School (MBS) Middle East Centre in Dubai has enrolled its latest cohort of more than 80 new students onto its 30-month part-time global MBA programme.

More than 10 per cent of the July 2014 intake already hold a Master’s degree and around 30 per cent are already in senior management roles in leading organisations, a statement said.

Around two thirds of the new students – who are all working professionals - are residents in the UAE with the balance residing in other countries within the GCC, it said.

MBS offers new options for students enrolled in the MBA programme which include elective modules such as ‘Sustainable Business’ and ‘Venture Capital and Private Equity’, it said.

Randa Bessiso, director Middle East at Manchester Business School, said: “Since opening in 2006, the MBS Middle East Centre has not only attracted large numbers of students but the quality of our students is also very impressive and one of the key factors in our success in the region, in turn helping to attract other high quality students to the Global MBA programme.” – TradeArabia News Service
