Seha picks Insead for management courses

Abu Dhabi , July 18, 2011

Seha, the Abu Dhabi Healthcare Authority, has signed an agreement with Insead for a year-long schedule of training sessions for its senior management that includes daily workshops and sessions on finance, management, and leadership.

The training sessions will be conducted at several places in Abu Dhabi, and will help participants apply the latest practices in management and leadership to Seha’s operations and effectively deal with the challenges of a changing operating environment.

“Our aim is to increase Seha senior executives’ experience and ability. We want Seha to develop a regional reputation, as an incubator for future CEOs, similar to high profile companies worldwide. The workshop programme will encourage senior management to explore innovative ideas and new ways of turning challenges into opportunities,” said Mohammed Al Hameli, chief support services, Seha.

The syllabus will include new approaches to tackle the challenges of implementation, care delivery system dynamics, business models in healthcare, and project management. The programme has commenced and will continue till December 2011.
