Saudi to send field hospitals to Egypt

Riyadh, August 18, 2013

Saudi Arabia will send three fully-equipped field hospitals to Egypt. The hospitals will come with a full staff of doctors and technicians, an official was quoted as saying.

The dispatch of the hospitals to the troubled country was ordered by Saudi King Abdullah, who urged Arab countries to to support Egypt in its fight against terrorism and those who undermine the country’s security and stability, said a report in the Arab News.

Egyptian President Adly Mansour earlier thanked King Abdullah for the support throughout the present crisis in Egypt.
