Seha takes part in Abu Dhabi congress

The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) is taking part in a medical congress to facilitate the exchange of best practice and strategies in delivering quality healthcare, which started today.

The seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi Medical Congress and Exhibition (ADMC) is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and will run for the next two days.

The event will bring together healthcare companies, organisations and professionals  to exchange scientific and commercial experience and expertise. It will be addressed by experts in the fields of emergency services, patient safety, primary healthcare and rehabilitation, said a senior official.

Specialists from Seha’s network of healthcare providers will contribute papers in a variety of disciplines dealing with successful experiences and developments its facilities, with focus on areas of emergency, accidents and nursing, family medicine, paediatric diseases and surgery, chronic diseases, obstetrics and gynaecology, and other healthcare issues.

About 150 companies from 32 countries will offer advanced technologies at the exhibition, which will also provide an opportunity for participants to establish business and networking relationships.

Saif Bader Al-Qubaisi, chairman of Seha, said: “The supporting exhibitions will help healthcare decision-makers and procurement teams in the UAE  learn a great deal about the advanced technologies and techniques on offer."

"To come into contact with over 150 specialised companies will be very valuable for Seha’s participants, and we intend to investigate the feasibility of introducing the latest technologies within hospitals and clinics in the UAE,” he said.
