Bahrain likely to see stormy weather

Manama, January 3, 2014

Bahrain is likely to experience unstable weather conditions from Sunday evening as accumulative clouds gather, bringing thundery downpours and strong, high-speed gusts.

Weathermen have urged citizens, especially drivers and seafarers, to take precautions, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Clouds are likely to accumulate over the easterly parts of the Arabian Gulf on Tuesday driven by strong, high-speed north-westerly winds which will bring a cold spell as temperatures drop below the normal monthly average for this month.

This cold spell is due to an atmospheric low moving from the Mediterranean towards the northern parts of the Arabian Peninsula and the Arabian Gulf associated with a block of cold air, they said. The weather today and tomorrow is likely to be moderate and partly cloudy. – TradeArabia News Service
