DHCC, Dräger in training deal

Dubai, January 28, 2014

Expert training will now be available in Dubai in the area of artificial ventilation and anesthesia thanks to an agreement between Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) and Dräger.

DHCC, a health and wellness destination, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dräger, a leading German medical and safety technology company in this regard.

Dräger is credited with pioneering anesthesia technology and artificial ventilation through its first emergency respirator - pulmotor.

DHC brings together a wealth of services in healthcare, medical education and research.
The partnership will see collaboration in providing continuing medical education (CME) courses for healthcare professionals through DHCC’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center (MBR-AMC).

Artificial ventilation and anesthesia are needed in critical care and trauma scenarios, and also required during invasive medical procedures.  – TradeArabia News Service
