Daman opens Sharjah branch

The National Health Insurance Company, Daman has opened its first brand in Sharjah.

The new branch will serve individual clients and businesses based in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, taking the number of Daman offices to 34 of which 9 are branches and 25 are service points.

Dr Michael Bitzer, chief executive, said: “With the demand for quality, value-based health insurance plans remaining high throughout the UAE, the opening of our first branch in Sharjah is an important step forward in our expansion plans across the nation.”

The branch offers Daman’s full range of members services including enrolment of new members, renewals, claim reimbursements and answering general enquiries.

Dr Sven Rohte, chief commercial officer, said: “Daman’s health insurance plans have always been available to customers in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. The last couple of years we have seen an increased demand for our plans in these markets, so opening a branch in Sharjah as a natural step towards better serving our customers there.”

The branch is managed by Ahmed Thani Al Halyan from Sharjah, who is experienced in customers’ services and relations. - TradeArabia News Service
