Terex relocates amid expansion plans

Terex Equipment Middle East (Teme), a diversified industrial manufacturer, has announced expansion plans as well as relocation to a larger facility in the Dubai Investments Park.

The new premises, while being close to the Jebel Ali port, consists of 35,000 sq ft (3,250 m2) of office and warehouse space and will hold a selection of equipment and will stock parts to offer a faster local response.

“We are very pleased that our growing base of successful customers of Genie and Terex equipment has driven the need to expand our operations,” said Bradley Abrahams, sales director for Teme.

“With this investment in our new facility and in additional sales and technical support team members, we are now better positioned than ever to serve our them,” added  Terex president for Middle East/Africa, Gianluca Tabarrini.

“Terex has a strong commitment to the region and Teme will act as a local support centre across all the four Terex business segments. With this common base, we are not only strengthening our presence but also increasing the level of support we deliver to our Terex and Genie customers.”

The company initially set up an office in Dubai in 2007 to support customers of the Genie product range of aerial work platforms and telehandlers as well as Terex light towers, generators, power buggies, utility trucks and transport trailer. – TradeArabia News Service
