DIP to host Road Race 2014

Dubai Investments Park (DIP), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, is set to host its mini-marathon on April 4.
The DIP Road Race 2014, organised, marketed and promoted by YalaSports, a leading event management company, will be flagged off from the DIP head office.
The participants can compete in two categories, either in a corporate team or as individuals, in a 3km and 10km race.
It is being held with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Pulse.
Saeed Bugaraah, chief operating officer of DIP, said: “Dubai Investments Park has always been at the forefront of efforts to promote social initiatives and community events, and our continued support to sports activities is part of our endeavor to foster a wholesome development of the community.”
“The race is expected to bring together participants across different nationalities representing their companies as they also strive for individual glory,” said Waleed Hamed, managing director of YalaSports.
Starting from the head office, the race will pass through the residential complexes towards the industrial area before heading back towards the head office for a finish.
The race will be electronically timed with the help of advanced tags to get the most accurate results. - TradeArabia News Service
