Suez Canal revenue up 8pc to $348m in April

Revenue from Egypt's Suez Canal rose 8 percent to $438.5 million in April from $406.1 million in the same month a year ago, Suez Canal Authority chief Mohab Memish told Reuters on Tuesday.
March revenues stood at $441.9 million.
The waterway, the fastest shipping route between Europe and Asia, is one of Egypt's main sources of foreign currency. – Reuters
