Bahrain wins e-government awards

Bahrain has won top GCC awards for its e-government services. It topped all the five categories at an event held as part of the first GCC e-Government Conference in Muscat.

The unified criminal systems of the Interior Ministry clinched the best e-government project award while the Industry and Commerce Ministry's e-investor took the best e-economic award.

The Health Ministry and the e-Government Authority won the best e-birth registration system award, and the Central Informatics Organisation and Bahrain postal service won the best e-government service award.

The e-Government Authority also won the best developed establishment award and the Tender Board won the best e-government service award for its e-tender project.-TradeArabia News Service
