UAE's telecom services operator du has launched a major promotion offering big prizes including sleek iPhone 4S smartphones and an hour of free talktime, to woo its cutomers to register their du lines by January 16.

The promotion was created by du in line with its commitment to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA)’s ‘My Number, My Identity’ campaign, said a statement from du.

Those who fail to register within the January 16 deadline will have their lines disconnected, it added.

Fahad AlHassawi, the chief commercial officer remarked: “Our customers mean the most to us, that’s why we have devised offers that rewards them with coveted smartphones and talk time when they register their du lines. In addition, we have opened up new avenues for customers to register their lines at several more convenient locations. It simply doesn’t get better than this."

Calling upon all customers to hurry and make the most of the offers, AlHassawi said, "It’s always rewarding to be a du customer. Individual post-paid customers who register their du lines now stand a fabulous opportunity to win a sleek iPhone 4S smartphones out of 30 to be won every week! Over 7 weeks."

This announcement closely follows on the heels of du’s recent offer for individual prepaid customers to get 1 hour of free national and international calls when they register their du lines, said the du statement.

In addition to this offer, 30 more registration centres are now available across the UAE for customers to register their du lines, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
